Preparing a mini book series

First and simple condition: The participants like to read and maintain a personal library - even a small one. For this particular workshop we will be talking about books in the Greek language or more correctly that use Greek typographical elements, either from a translation, e.g. Kafka, Camus, Yoursenaard, from classics, Nesbo, Tomarktsuk, more modern, from Greek classics (e.g. Tsirkas) or from Cypriots more contemporary writers (e.g. Niki and, or Maria Marangou, Th. Antoniou and others that you can find in the publishing house To Rodakio).
Participants will need to bring a computer with Adobe InDesign 2021+ installed.

Illustrating and animating Christmas Characters with Odd Bleat

Every year at this time Odd Bleat's Creative Studio creates Christmas worlds, designing animated or static characters for clients in Greece and abroad.
For the 6th consecutive year, the studio is planning the Christmas campaign for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. In the seminar we will dive into the world of Odd Bleat, following step by step the process of creating the Christmas world of SNF.
Starting from the development of the main concept and story, we proceed to the creation of sketches, concept frames and then designing the characters in Illustrator. Then we will discuss the preparation of characters for animation and how to import them into After Effects and finally how to bring our Christmas characters to life, with an introduction to keyframes and basic movements.
